In the time of Galileo when the common mind blew shut

His claim the Earth flew ’round the Sun got him viewed as a nut

We’ve bid adieu to days a slew of dunces held dominion

Now no one shoos you off to jail for brewing an opinion

That being said I’d like to shed some light upon creation

But who can say which wondrous way the stars found their formation

Most science guys are bright… not blind to much that’s fake or phony

So I’m surprised that they’d align with such ‘Big Bang’ baloney

To begin with there was nothing then there rang an awesome bang

From one great gust we all should trust that’s how the cosmos sprang

No way I’d hang my hat on that… excuse my being leery

Though some folks say the Earth is flat I don’t buy either theory

That being said I’d like to shed some light upon creation

So how the heck could one small speck in one supposed explosion

Spit out more stars to wish upon than fish swim in the ocean
