I shed a tear of sadness when I heard she’d
passed away
That lovely Biscuit Lady from the old Loveless
Café
The whole world got to know her on TV with Bobby
Flay
He tried to overthrow her but she sent him on his
way
It was a thing of beauty how she slathered him
with jam
Then battered his poor biscuits as she scorched
his Yankee ham
Though she’s no longer with us sweet memories
remain
We love The Biscuit Lady more than these words
can explain
Carol Fay we’re gonna miss you… biscuits…
butter… berry jam
Grits an’ eggs flipped over easy… red eye
gravy… country ham
Anytime in any weather… rain or snow or
sleet or hail
Just the thought of you brings sunshine
in an instant without fail
Now lately I’ve been wond’rin’ how divine this
world might be
If we like Carol Fay would dish out God’s fine
love for free
She never met a stranger… she kept a winnin’
style
She’d lift your slippin’ spirits up while grinnin’
you a smile
Carol Fay we’re gonna miss you… biscuits…
butter… berry jam
Grits an’ eggs flipped over easy… red eye
gravy… country ham
Anytime in any weather… rain or snow or
sleet or hail
Just the thought of you brings sunshine
in an instant without fail
