I’m
sick of slick commercials that make the man look bad
Like
he’s a first grade flunk out and his wife’s a law school grad
His
children think he’s stupid… a dude without a clue
So
clumsy dense and helpless… only mom knows what to do
I’d like to meet the nutless chump who pumps out all that trash
I’d light a fire under him and then I’d kick his ash
He’s living large in TV Land yet he’s too small to see
That all he is and all he has he owes to men like me
I get
up every morning and do a hard day’s work
I
never cause a problem and I don’t act like a jerk
I
sacrifice for family… stay faithful to my wife
I’ve
served my sacred country at the risk of limb and life
I’d like to meet the nutless chump who pumps out all that trash
I’d light a fire under him and then I’d kick his ash
He’s living large in TV Land yet he’s too small to see
That all he is and all he has he owes to men like me
Instrumental to Bridge |
Now I’m not saying moms aren’t smart… my own was mighty bright
But still I’m glad I had a dad to show me wrong from right
He taught me how to be a man… talk straight and stand up tall
He wasn’t like those dumb ad dads in any way at all
I’d like to meet the nutless chump who pumps out all that trash
I’d light a fire under him and then I’d kick his ash
He’s living large in TV Land yet he’s too small to see

That all he is and all he has he owes to men like me
