In Green Pastures, under the lovingly protective care of Our Heavenly Father,
the souls of our dearly departed animal companions now happily dwell forevermore.
It remains for us, their human family and friends, to take comfort in our abiding faith that
they have not passed away, but have only ventured forth and will be there to welcome us.
As all God's children someday must, we too shall leave behind this mortal existence
to discover the supernal beauty, joyous bliss and everlasting peace of God's Green Pastures.

Dr. Damon Leigh - The Pet Pastor

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in Green Pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

King James Version of The Holy Bible - Psalm 23

Oh Danny Boy

Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the leaves are falling
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide.
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.

And if you come, when all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me.
And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me
And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be
If you'll not fail to tell me that you love me
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.

Laika 1993-2007 (click to enlarge)

Laika Leigh

Laika was and is the doggy love of my life.  She was only a couple of weeks old the first time I saw her in October, 1993.  I had to wait another month before I could bring her home.  She was so smart and so loving... she was more like a human child than a pet.  On the morning of January 17, 1994, at about 4:15 a.m., Laika (who was 4 months old at the time) came into my bedroom and woke me up.  I thought she needed to go potty, so I got up, dressed and took her outside.  Minutes later the devastating Northridge earthquake struck.  Laika never did need to go potty... she woke me up to warn me of the coming quake.  She lived a long and happy life until she passed away in December 2007.  I sincerely believe that when my turn comes to cross over into the next life, Laika will be there waiting to welcome me.  Good girl, Laika!

Toby Momsen

Toby was an angel when he walked among us and, on July 7, 2002, when God called him home, he became an angel in Heaven whose beautiful and loving spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those of us who loved him so very dearly.  May God bless and keep our beloved little friend Toby forever and evermore.  Amen.

Titan 1988-2000 (click to enlarge)

Titan Kogan

Titan was so small when his new family first brought him home at 8 weeks old that his new mom, Lilia, gave him his moniker with tongue-in-cheek.  This wonderful Golden Retriever soon grew into his noble name.  He eventually weighed more than 100 lbs. - most of which was heart.  Titan was very loving to everyone he ever met... except that naughty rattlesnake who bit his nose when he was a puppy.  Titan survived - the rattlesnake didn't!

Sly 1991-2004 (click to enlarge)

Sly Robak

Sly was always a happy little boy.  He never asked for anything more than a little pat on the head.  That's all it took to set his tail a-waggin'.  Sly was the only male in his family... there were 3 girls, too (Nellie, Tiffy & Sandy).  He constantly looked after and took very good care of them.  When Nellie passed away in late 2003, it broke Sly's little heart.  He followed her to Heaven on January 19, 2004.  Rest in peace, Sly.  We'll always love you.

The Lord bless you and keep you.
May He show His face to you and have mercy.
May He turn His countenance to you and give you peace.
The Lord bless you!
